Yahoo + Messenger finally here

I have downloaded the latest version of Live! Messenger and YM with Voice 8 Beta.
MSN and Yahoo! IM Collaboration is almost here, as usual it wouldn't take long before the news had spread across the internet where I already seen few entries in Malaysian Blogsphere regarding the new feature by Yahoo and MSN. I'm currently downloading the latest Windows Live! Messenger which is required to interact with Yahoo! Messenger (YM).
Yahoo MSN IM Collaboration

Y!MSN Messenger is one way of putting it, Yahoo! Inc and MSN has finally will link both IM to work with each other. Something that even Multi-Protocol IM can't do. While Multi-Protocol IM such as Trillian, Miranda IM and so on can connect to multiple protocol they still missed the ability to link users from different protocol (Each protocol runs on it own).
The new feature would be available around the second quarter of 2006 which will enable MSN Messenger's and Yahoo! Messenger's users to exchange instant message, check online status of their contacts, share emoticons, add friends regardless from either service and make PC-to-PC voice calls.
Yahoo! Konfabulator
This would be a major news for every desktop modder. Yahoo! Inc. has announce today that they would acquire Konfabulator. They also have claimed that the future Konfabulator would be available FREE.
Schneider also confirmed that Konfabulator would be available for free. In addition, Yahoo! plans to refund customers that purchased the product in the last two months.
More on the news here.
I haven't had any chances to use Konfabulator since I prefered freeware but since Yahoo! has step up and make it F.O.C then I would seriously consider on using it since it is a famous widget for Mac platform. A quick check at Konfabulator.com show only some snippet of the switch. So stay tune.
