2 I'm not back from hiatus, still am busy with day and night job which most likely end somewhere in the middle of December. However I have setup a dedicated website for Savvy.UI (or best known here as Savvy.JS) at SavvyUI.com to host development update as well as documentation for Savvy.UI. ChronoSight Wiki and ChronoSight Forum may be brought down temporarily unless I can make time to continue the development of ChronoSight.CMS. Some people keep asking me to release the CMS but it just not fully functional for general usage.
What make it worst, I just come out with a new idea for a new project which combine both PHP and JavaScript (namely Savvy.UI). The concept to the idea isn't new and there a number of group already have a working prototype and running system but all of it (As Far As I Know) are webservice and what I intent to do is actually public release version where everyone can download and install at their own hosting. Anyone interested to join me on this project?
Download IE7 for a Better Web Experience
Microsoft finally made a wise decision to allow Windows user to download Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 without the WGA validation test. In a way this will help the web developer and designer to provide better Web2.0 experience to Internet audience all around the world especially to those whom are loyal IE user (or those whom still not convince with the better alternative).
“Because Microsoft takes its commitment to help protect the entire Windows ecosystem seriously, we’re updating the IE7 installation experience to make it available as broadly as possible to all Windows users,” said Steve Reynolds, an IE program manager in a posting to a Microsoft company blog. “With today’s ‘Installation and Availability Update,’ Internet Explorer 7 installation will no longer require Windows Genuine Advantage validation and will be available to all Windows XP users.” - from ReleaseLog
With this decision, I have to wonder whether Microsoft will continue releasing bug update for IE6 or will it finally be the end of Web1.0 era? More the less, all web developer and designer should help this campaign to create awareness all around the globe. If we failed to promote alternative modern browsers than at less convince them to upgrade to IE7.
Iframe UTF-8 bug in IE6
If you are working with multiple iframe do take note that you may get 404 - Page Not Found error in Microsoft Internet Explorer when you use <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />, this problem appear to happen in single and cross domain frames.

Load-n-Stalk Advertlets
Advertlets made the statement in their weblog recently to justify loading time when using Advertlets code. For what I can say, the ads load fast now except for some occasion including today. As you might have read, I made my own Advertlets initialize JavaScript function instead of using advertlets_lite.js.
We have recently upgraded our server, and your Advertlets ads should display in less than half a second to a second on average. Please note that generally, code on websites load in sequence - so if you have a lot of other items before your Advertlets code in the HTML, those other items will have to be loaded before your Advertlets Code can load.
