All new SpamBuster Report Manager
In case you might not have known, SpamBuster is ChronoSight.CMS spam blocking algorithm and reporting console. Doesn't that just sound so sophisticated? Well creating a good algorithm to block those nasty spambots are a great challenge personally were you not only need to block spam but also prevent innocent visitors' comments to be mark as spam at the same time.
Thought on AJAX Security for Web Application
in fact there ton of Request Tracker software available from the internet...
Just the other day when I lurked in my daily list of forum and discussion board, I came across a discussion on how to secure AJAX script from FireFox user in particular (refer to this thread). I would agree with them that FireFox can expose to much information to the end-user via extension or plug-in but you have to understand that in reality all the data that you output to the client isn't save.
Spam Buster Algorithm in Progress
I'm working on a spam filtering and prevention algorithm for ChronoSight which going to be based from few Spam filtering alternative including Bayesian Spam Filtering, Hyperlink Count Filtering, IP Address Blocking and etc. It going to come out very soon to fight those bad ass spambots. *Evil Laugh*
System Upgrade Can Be A Mess
Yes! When the developer doesn't know what they should be doing...
Our company just kickstart yet another web based CMS content update for a client. When I first look at the original website I wasn't a bit impress with the design, maybe just a little where they make good use of pattern and such. The previous developer didn't manage to coordinate the graphic design with web design too well.
What a Load of JavaScript Memory Leak!
I was surprise recently when I came into knowledge about JavaScript Memory Leak, I never really consider JavaScript would be among the reason that made my FireFox crash and burn in the past. Out of curiousity, I downloaded the Leak Monitor extension for FireFox and test it out with my daily visited site and among the worst would be GMail and WordPress. ChronoSight.CMS doesn't return any leak alert except for TinyMCE (which indeed use Prototype).
