Sinking of Japan
I had the opportunity to watch Sinking of Japan (or Nihon Chibotsu) today at Times Square. It a movie that would remind me the era of Twister, Core, Armageddon, Deep Impact and other top disaster themed movie in the past. A remake of 1970's movie of the same title and based from a novel by Sakyo Komatsu were given a new shine of light with our current technology. I haven't seen the original movie but I'm sure based from current technology the remake would be a better option in bringing the realistic effect.
Death Note the Movie
Many Otaku lover would probably at least heard of the title. It's in fact among the best storyline I read so far. I did planned to watch the movie at cinema but when I had the time to spend the showing was already over. Well never mind that, none the least I still manage to watch it at home recently and it was really great to see the character in motions (I only read and follow the manga before).
In a nutshell, it was a great movie where the actor where at the best possible to portray each characters. I do have to blame the script-writer for making Yagami Light seem to be less intelligent then L where in fact when you read the manga or watch the anime both analytical skill match each other.
Renaissance
Have you guys ever heard bout this movie??Gonna come out 22/9..I doubt it will show here..the animation is simply stunning..kinda like Sin City..

Snake on the Plane

There m*#h%^f-$king snake on the m*#h%^f-$king plane
Snake on the Plane, it a pure mix-up of horror and dirty jokes featuring Samuel L. Jackson. It not the first time creepy animals are featured in a movie and this wouldn't be the last. The movie receives good feedback from viewers all over the world where although I would consider this as a cheap movie (think Scary Movies), they manage to pull it off.
